But the drops that lay ahead
are countless pearls of memories
& that ma heart relates stories
of mother's little sweet talks
& her love wen I'd fall
or swing rides on dad's shoulder
lullabies from grandmother's boulders
Friends & their lil chit-chat
bunking classes for the coffee shack
silly fights on nothingness
finding heaven in togetherness
the fun, the frolic and the fears
the joy, the emotions and sumtyms tears
ma little pearls of memories, stringed
wear them all till time cease....................

There are memories of the times we've shared
ReplyDeleteBoth bright and sunny days.
There are memories of your kindness
And your friendly thoughtful ways.
There are memories of all those notes,
we would write back and forth,
When we would just get together,
And talk of this or that.
And when I recall these memories
As I go along life's way,
I find they grow more precious still
With every passing day.
