"रंग दो मुझे सतरंगी
मैं अब फिरूं हूँ मंनरंगी!!"
N what else cud colour ur life other than "emotions".
So it is not surprising that most of the great classical philosophers—Plato, Aristotle, Spinoza, Descartes, Hobbes, Hume—had recognizable theories of emotion, conceived as responses to certain sorts of events of concern to a subject, triggering bodily changes and typically motivating characteristic behaviour....
Ooh lala!! too much Philosphy !!!!
Bugged by the virus of emotion since birth, I'm always awestruck and amused to observe varied expression and expressionless emotions which have an immense power to create, recreate and alas! destroy too. Yet for EMOTIONS, I may muse
"Its Truth is relative, its understanding is limited."
"Its Truth is relative, its understanding is limited."
The fascination began with the first conscious emotion of LOVE for my mom and then ma dad!! Later it developed into AFFECTION for ma brother, CARE for ma friends, JOY here and ANGER there, HAPPY now n SAD then, etc, etc ................
and then to my dismay, I experienced another form of emotion, so very similar in name but unfathomably different - "LOVE", which was to my bewilderment a cocktail of emotions...n along came the realisation of rather amusing emotions alongside so very objectionably yet intriguingly titled SWEET PAIN aka BLISSFUL HURT..........
It was not all, there were more to come n the one I found most brutal of all was , "emotion of loosing somebody dear”. Loosing someone by distance, by misunderstanding, by ditching is one thing but because of death, aah!, to my misery is totally inexpressible coz deep down still it never sinks that SOMEONE IS NOW NO ONE. Forever then seems eternity. And yes, I haven’t been able to give a name to this particular emotion as yet coz its not ‘hurt’, for it hurts more than what hurt can define, pains more than what u can impossibly imagine n is more heart tearing than to be stabbed by a knife!!!!!!
But yes, emotions are not always grey!!!
They are red with ecstacy, pink with innocence & love, coral with wildness and with fury, yellow with friendliness & hope, gold with joy, lime with youthfulness, green with warmth & comfort , turquoise with strength, blue with compassion, purple with excitement .............sometimes it really makes me ColourBlind!!!!!
And yes!!! I love them......love to feel them, awestruck to witness them, take a pride when I bestow them....n sumtimes miserable when I do not achieve the desirables of them!!!
